Join a registered dietitian from Food Explorers and make treats for the family! You’ll learn how to make cinnamon rolls and homemade fudge (2 ways). You’ll be guided through the steps and learn some facts about food and nutrition as you cook.
All recipes use simple and easy to find ingredients (an ingredients list will be provided before each class with ample time for grocery shopping). Class will be conducted over Zoom.
Weekly Dinner Series
You will make dinner for your family each week and learn new cooking and kitchen skills along the way. You will make: pizza from scratch, loaded veggie tot nachos, sweet potato gnocchi, and broccoli cheddar soup. These recipes are nut free and many ingredients can be substituted.
Food Explorers Camp
Join for a week of coking and learning about food from all around the world! Each day you'll learn about a different country and the different foods that they eat, then, you'll make two of those recipes! Get ready to try some new recipes and have fun! You'll be making things like Greek quesadillas, Tiramisu cups, and summer spring rolls. All recipes are nut free and each child will make their own individual portion while following social distancing guidelines and wearing masks.
