Supporting and protecting our pollinating friends.

Have you wondered how you can have a lower maintenance garden, help support pollinators and other beneficial insects, and attract more birds and butterflies to your garden?

Monroe Parks and Recreation, Monroe Conservation Commission, and Monroe Land Trust & Tree Conservancy have partnered to develop a native plant meadow in the Oak Grove area of Great Hollow Lake.

The area will showcase native plantings that support birds, beneficial insects, and other wildlife and will support education on low maintenance and beautiful native plants you can use in your own garden.

Join experts Cynthia Giancaspro and Barb Thomas for an afternoon to showcase the new garden and celebrate National Pollinator Week
